If you want to start your day off with an Egg McMuffin and a coffee from McDonalds, you might have a problem this morning. System outages at McDonald’s have been reported worldwide today, causing some restaurants to totally shut down… and leading to social media complaints. Other locations meanwhile, were reportedly back up and running after the failures. The website Downdetector reported a spike in problems with the McDonald’s app in the last couple of hours. McDonalds issued a statement, saying th issue is not related to a cybersecurity incident.
