In New Smyrna Beach, a 16-year-old was arrested after brandishing a firearm among spring breakers. The Volusia Sheriff’s Office responded, leading to a chase that ended in the ocean. The teen, now in custody, faces multiple charges including firearm possession by a minor and sale of marijuana. He was also wanted on seven no-bond warrants out of Orange County. Thankfully, no injuries were reported.
