After nearly two years of legal battles, Gov. Ron DeSantis’ office and Disney have reached a settlement over control of Walt Disney World’s governing district. The dispute stemmed from DeSantis taking over the park’s district, which Disney claimed was retaliation for opposing Florida’s Parental Rights In Education law. The settlement has Disney agreeing to nullify development agreements and the district reverting to its 2020 comprehensive plan.
