The Florida Department of Transportation has unveiled the new signs at the state’s borders, celebrating Florida’s status as a top tourist destination. The updated signs read “Hurry Back to the Free State of Florida.” FDOT Secretary Jared Perdue introduced the signs over the Independence Day weekend, highlighting their role in inviting visitors and residents to enjoy all that Florida has to offer. The new signage is being placed along major roadways entering and exiting the state.
