The jet, originally scheduled to land in Tampa, diverted to Fort Lauderdale after the low altitude approach. That incident follows a similar event last month in Oklahoma City. Southwest Airlines released a statement, saying that they are cooperating with the FAA to address any irregularities. The FAA is also reviewing other recent flight issues involving Southwest.
