In response to recent incidents, including a fatal shooting in Sanford, Central Florida law enforcement agencies are teaming up to offer designated safe zones for online transaction exchanges. These zones, available at various sheriff’s offices and police departments across the region, provide secure locations for conducting internet sales and child custody exchanges. Each participating agency, including those here in Brevard County, along with agencies in Flagler, Lake, Marion, Orange, Osceola, Seminole, Sumter, and Volusia Counties, has established specific areas or facilities for these transactions to enhance safety and reduce risk.
