More Starliner Issues Now Involve Batteries

More issues now for the crew of a spacecraft that was delayed by problems at launch and is still tethered to the International Space Station because of continuing problems in space. NASA and Boeing’s Starliner mission at the International Space Station has now surpassed its planned 45-day battery window. The spacecraft, which docked at the ISS on June 6, has now been given an indefinite extension due to the condition of the batteries. Astronauts Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams, who have been onboard now a lot longer than they originally expected, reportedly remain confident despite the delay. Engineers continue to monitor the situation closely, but so far, no new return date has been set.
