Preparing For Population Boom

Florida’s population has surpassed 23 million for the first time, driven by a surge of new residents from states like New York and California. According to the state’s Demographic Estimating Conference, the influx is set to continue, with nearly 900 people moving to the state each day. This rapid growth is expected to boost Florida’s GDP and job market, though it may also drive up the cost of living. The state is projected to reach 24 million residents by 2027 and 25 million by 2031.
