Boeing And NASA To Update Starliner Situation Today

NASA astronauts Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams remain aboard the International Space Station… long after their original expected return to earth… as the return of Boeing’s Starliner capsule continues to face more delays. Initially scheduled to return in mid-June, the mission has been extended due to technical issues with the spacecraft. NASA and Boeing are still working on resolving these issues and have removed the return date from the schedule. Yesterday, another issue was noted… The batteries aboard the Starliner have now exceeded their expiration date. Despite the uncertainty, both astronauts report they are well and comfortable, and there are ample supplies onboard the ISS for their extended and unexpected stay. NASA and Boeing plan to issue an update on the situation later today.
