Homeless Man Jailed Following Cocoa Village Stabbing

A 40-year-old homeless man faces charges including attempted murder and aggravated battery following a knife attack in Cocoa Village. Jeremy Moore is accused of attacking another man who was waiting for an Uber near the Dirty Oar Beer Company on Sunday evening. Police say Moore approached the victim aggressively before stabbing him in the neck and back. The victim, who fought back, was hospitalized after paramedics treated him at the scene. Moore was arrested near the Cocoa water tower. He remains in the Brevard County Jail on a $150,000 bond.
