A 16-year-old girl from Palm Bay has now been indicted on two counts of first-degree premeditated murder in connection with the deaths of her mother and her mother’s boyfriend. On July 7, the teenager is accused of staging a fake 911 call, claiming an intruder was responsible for the killings. However, police later discovered she had killed the victims with a gun and a knife. The teenager confessed to the murders after evidence, including a weapon found at her home and bloody footprints, contradicted her story. Prosecutors plan to try her as an adult. She remains in custody without bond.
