The name of the pilot who disappeared after departing Sebastian Municipal Airport on Sunday, has been released. Chris Moore of Kentucky was flying solo in a white, red, and blue two-seater aircraft on a three-hour journey to Marsh Harbour in the Bahamas when he lost contact. His wife, Stacye Moore, reported him missing after he failed to land as scheduled. The FAA issued an alert after the plane stopped transmitting its signal. Although search efforts by the U.S. Coast Guard and Bahamian authorities have been suspended, Stacye has hired private search planes to continue the search. The circumstances surrounding Moore’s disappearance remain under investigation.
