Lee Wenner Park in Cocoa will close starting September 9 for a major parking lot improvement project. The construction aims to increase parking capacity by nearly 75 spaces while maintaining 46 boat trailer spots. The upgrades, part of the Cocoa Waterfront Master Plan, will include new curbing, asphalt, drainage, and lighting. The project is expected to last about a year. During the closure, alternative parking options are available throughout Cocoa Village and other local boat ramps.
