Governor Ron DeSantis has signed a death warrant for 53 year old Billy Leon Kearse, convicted of killing a Fort Pierce police officer during a 1991 traffic stop. Kearse is scheduled to be executed by lethal injection March 3, with two other executions also now set for February.
