Melbourne Settles Lawsuit Over Mishandled 1990 Rape Case
The City of Melbourne has settled a negligence lawsuit filed by a woman who says police mishandled her 1990 rape investigation when she was 11 years old. Elizabeth Bradshaw says evidence, including a rape kit and clothing, was later destroyed. The settlement amount has not been disclosed.
