West Melbourne police have arrested 35 year old Jerome Jordan and 32 year old Charlene O’Connell following the death of Jordan’s 2-year-old daughter. Investigators say the child swallowed kratom pills, suffered a seizure and breathing problems, but neither adult sought medical help. Both face aggravated manslaughter and child neglect charges.
