A 12 year old student at Southwestern Middle School in Volusia County has been arrested after making a mass shooting threat. The Volusia Sheriff’s Office says deputies were alerted to a detailed manifesto posted online outlining plans for an attack. Investigators say the student claimed the threat was made in response to bullying. The student was taken into custody and charged with making written threats to kill and misuse of a two way communications device.
