In Orlando, the Wheel at ICON Park remains closed for maintenance after losing power Saturday night, stranding dozens of people who were on board for a New Year’s Eve spin. Emergency responders had to rescue more than 60 people from the ride, after sparks flew and then the entire wheel went dark. Fortunately, nobody was hurt. ICON Park officials issued a statement, saying the ride will be closed for the next few days as a technical team conducts maintenance.
