Wrong-way Driver In Fatal I-95 Crash Identified As 34-year-old Cocoa Woman

The Florida Highway Patrol identified the wrong-way driver in Saturday’s deadly I-95 crash south of North Wickham Road as 34-year-old Cocoa woman. She was driving a 2020 Toyota Corolla south in the northbound lane when it struck a 2014 Chevrolet Impala carrying a 34-year-old man and 46-year-old woman from Holly Hill. All three in the initial collision were pronounced dead at the scene. None were wearing seatbelts. The crash triggered a chain reaction involving six more vehicles, sending several people to local hospitals. Northbound lanes were closed for hours.
