NASA has announced its 2025 astronaut candidate class, selecting 10 men and women from over 8,000 applicants. The candidates, including military pilots, engineers, and scientists, will undergo nearly two years of training at Johnson Space Center before becoming eligible for missions to low Earth orbit, the Moon, and Mars. This marks the agency’s 24th astronaut class since the Mercury Seven in 1959.
