An investigation has led to the arrest of a 21 year old man for allegedly killing 13 alligators along the St. Johns River near Hatbill Park Boat Ramp in Brevard County. Authorities say Jacob Latrielle is responsible for the incidents that occurred back in April. Under state law, illegally killing, possessing, or capturing an alligator is a third-degree felony, carrying up to five years in prison and a $5,000 fine.
