Cocoa’s American Legion Post 22, a 101-year-old veterans resource center, is at risk of closing after a severe termite infestation damaged the building’s floors and walls. The nonprofit says it needs $30,000 to eliminate the termites and repair the structure. Fundraising is now underway through a GoFundMe page and several community events in October and November.
