Brevard County transportation officials are gearing up to reapply for federal funding for a Brightline station in Cocoa after last year’s $47.46 million grant was denied. The proposed station would be located off Clearlake Road along Brightline’s Orlando-to-Miami route. Federal grant applications are due by January 2026, with notifications expected in the spring.
