Northern Brevard County residents began recovering from flooding that followed more than 15 inches of rain in Port St John. The downpour, which started Sunday evening, left hundreds without power, stranded vehicles in flooded streets, and washed out sections of local roads. Emergency crews are assisting with cleanup and monitoring remaining flood hazards.
