You might want to make a note of this if you frequent the area… W. King Street, part of State Road 520 in Cocoa, will close from Washington Street to N. Cocoa Boulevard (U.S. 1) from 7 a.m. Friday, Nov. 8, through 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12. The closure is so that Florida East Coast Railroad crews can replace crossing surfaces. Detours will be in place, and drivers, bicyclists, and pedestrians are encouraged to plan alternate routes during the five-day project.
