Anglers in Indian River County are voicing frustration after the Florida Department of Environmental Protection announced the south jetty at Sebastian Inlet State Park will close to nighttime access starting Nov. 12. The move ends decades of round-the-clock fishing. The north jetty remains open 24 hours. Anglers say the closure limits prime fishing opportunities and could impact the local economy.
