Melbourne Police are investigating after a body was found on the roof of an unoccupied building along Sarno Road. A neighbor called police Tuesday afternoon after noticing a strong odor lingering for about a week. The neighbor climbed onto the roof believing it may have been a dead animal and discovered the body. Due to the condition of the remains, investigators have not identified the victim’s age or gender and have not determined whether the death is suspicious. Police say there is no threat to the public as the investigation continues.

Although the majority of Ed’s career—spanning roughly four decades—was rooted in music radio, he transitioned into news and information programming in 2012. He says the move into spoken-word broadcasting was a natural evolution after decades of experience in multiple areas of the industry.
