A 46 year old Palm Coast man running as a Democrat for Florida governor, is now facing multiple serious charges after a violent incident at a home in Flagler County. Deputies say Kevin Cichowski was arrested after allegedly attacking two elderly victims, hitting one with a cane and throwing a cellphone at the other. Authorities say Cichowski also made threats to kill the victims and law enforcement. He now faces charges including aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and battery on a person over 65. He was also placed under the Baker Act after making suicidal statements.

He was one of just 12 broadcasters nationwide chosen to participate in discussions and provide input during the design and rollout of Google’s digital broadcast automation platform. Although the majority of Ed’s career—spanning roughly four decades—was rooted in music radio, he transitioned into news and information programming in 2012. He says the move into spoken-word broadcasting was a natural evolution after decades of experience in multiple areas of the industry.
