Palm Bay Memorial Garden Established

A Memorial garden has been creasted for a West Melbourne Police officer who died unexpectedly. The memorial garden stands in memory of West Melbourne Police Capt. Carlos Navedo, who died unexpectedly on June 4th. Dozens of volunteers made the memorial garden a reality at the police station. Navedo was born in Puerto Rico. He was just 47 years old. He began in 2002 as a civilian desk officer. He then attended the police academy and joined the force. Navedo was also an entrepreneur, operating a hazardous materials clean-up service, and he was also studying to become a home inspector.
