Governor Ron DeSantis paid a visit to The Villages to announce a new legislative proposal aimed at protecting consumers and small businesses, and putting tighter control on Pharmacy Benefit Managers through accountability in Florida’s drug market. The proposal is being greeted by a majority of Floridians as a critical step in the right direction to ensure access to medications at the lowest price possible, and to have them dispensed from a community pharmacist of choice.
