A crash over the weekend in Scottsmoor took the life of a 65 year old man from Palm Bay, and left a 48 year old Palm Bay woman critically injured. The Florida Highway Patrol says it happened about 1 Saturday at U.S. 1 and Sunset Avenue. The man was driving a motorcycle and the woman was a passenger. As the bike was turning onto US-1, it was hit by a northbound car, driven by a 35 year old Titusville man. No names have yet been released. The driver and passenger on the motorcycle were both taken to Parrish Medical Center. The man was pronounced dead. The woman was last reported to be in critical condition. The driver of the car was not hurt.
