4.4 Magnitude Earthquake Hits Texas

Not a lot of details have so far been released, but we are learning that Martin County, Texas experienced a notable event Wednesday as a 4.4 earthquake struck 13 miles north of Stanton, Texas at 1:46 p.m., as confirmed by the US Geological Survey. The tremor was felt across West Texas with reports coming in from communities like Big Spring, Midland, and Lamesa. Some people even reported feeling it in Lubbock, San Angelo, and Abilene. So far, there have been no reports of damage or injuries associated with the earthquake.
