SpaceX launched its second Falcon 9 rocket in just over 24 hours from here in Florida. Thursday’s launch from Cape Canaveral’s Launch Complex 40 saw the Falcon 9 carrying 23 Starlink satellites into orbit at 6:40 p.m. The rocket, powered by a booster with six previous flights, accompanied by that familiar rumble heard across much of Brevard County. SpaceX confirmed a successful landing of the booster on the drone ship. Thursday’s launch marked SpaceX’s 40th successful launch and landing of a Falcon 9 so far this year.
