A Melbourne man faces serious charges after allegedly robbing a local gas station at gunpoint. 34 year old Victor Ruiz was arrested following the incident at the BP station on South Wickham Road. Armed with a firearm, Ruiz reportedly demanded cash from the clerk while attempting to disguise his identity. Police traced him through a vehicle connected to the crime scene, leading to his arrest. Ruiz is now facing charges including robbery and illegal firearm possession. He is being held without bond at the Brevard County Jail.
