Marion County deputies have arrested 33 men following an online sting operation targeting child predators. The men were caught in sexually explicit conversations with deputies posing as minors and were arrested for attempting to meet with what they believed to be children aged 13 to 15. Some suspects traveled from outside Florida. Authorities seized firearms, drugs, cash, and vehicles from the suspects. Marion County Sheriff Billy Woods emphasized the department’s commitment to combating such crimes and urged parents to monitor their children’s online activities better.
