Ribbon Cutting For New Brevard School

Brevard County’s first new middle school in nearly three decades is officially open. Viera Middle School, located on Stadium Parkway, held its ribbon-cutting ceremony on Tuesday. The school features an Information and Communications Technology track, robotics and aerospace labs, and an entrepreneurship incubator. The school’s modern amenities also include a new gym, cafeteria, and flexible learning spaces. Approximately 700 students are set to begin classes there on August 12, as part of Brevard Public Schools’ broader expansion plan to enhance career and technical education.
