Blue Origin Droneship Arrives At Port Canaveral

A new chapter in space launch history is set to begin now, after Blue Origin’s droneship, named Jacklyn, arrived at Port Canaveral early Wednesday. The floating platform, designed to land the first stage of Blue Origin’s New Glenn rocket, marks a significant step for the company’s ambitious launch plans. Scheduled for its inaugural flight no earlier than October 13, New Glenn will lift off from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, sending NASA’s ESCAPADE mission to Mars. With a reusable first stage capable of up to 25 landings, New Glenn aims to rival SpaceX’s Falcon 9 in reusability.
